The Tipping Family

Redefining Normal

going home!

I just talked to Courtney and she answered saying, “Hey Kristi! I’m going home!” They are packing up their things and going home in a little bit! Her hemoglobin is still down, but she will take Iron 3 times a day and hopefully by her check-up with Dr. Gregg next week, it will be back up. She’s been able to walk around some and is in good spirits. Please pray for Allen and Courtney as they make their way home. It will be emotional to be back in their house, I’m sure.

We will keep you updated! Thank you so much for all of your prayers and comforting comments.

If you are on the list to bring food after today, they request that you do not bring food to their house. But, they do want to express their gratitude for your wanting to help. Thank you!!

  1. Dear Courtney & Allen,

A blog follower of mine sent me your link. Our stories are very similar. Just 3 weeks ago, my husband and I lost our quadruplets at 22 weeks. I am so sorry for your loss, but know that you are not alone. If you’d ever like to talk I am here for you. I found that it’s helped me a little hearing from others that what I am feeling is perfectly normal and OK. No one know’s why this happens, but for some reason we were selected by God to make these angels and send them strait up to heaven.

Hang in there. I’ll be praying for your family.

  2. Praying for you during this difficult time.

  3. Scripture: Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head. To the LORD I cry aloud, and he answers me from his holy hill. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because the LORD sustains me. I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side. Psa 3:2-6 NIV

Prayer: O Lord, though others may give up on me and assume there is no solution to the difficult circumstances I face, I am grateful that You care about all things that concern me. Thank You for giving me the assurance that You are always willing to answer my prayers regardless of circumstances. Because of this, I can have peace and not be afraid, even in the worst of situations. Help me to trust You more completely, knowing with confident assurance that You will do all you have promised. In Jesus’ Precious name I pray. Amen.

I am Morgan Furr’s Grandmother, I will continue to pray for you all.

Both of you have been in my prayers. My husband and I lost our son, Wyatt, at 22 weeks approximately 3 months ago. If you ever need to email or call you are welcome. It helped to talk with others that have gone through similar loss. Just know that you are in the prayers of many people at Brookwood Church.

  15. i am still praying for you both and your families. i hope that being at home will give you time to grieve and heal.

if there are any particular prayer requests you have or anything that you need done, please feel free to let me know.
