Week in Review…

March 5th, 2009

We had a productive yet restful weekend and start to our week!

  • Friday afternoon, all of the teachers I work with gave us a shower, we got all kinds of good stuff: diapers, gift cards, wipes, and lots more.
  • My mom was in town and spoiled us cooking dinner, it was delicious and helping us continue to get organized.
  • Saturday, we went to a couple’s shower for one of the girls in my lifegroup at our friend’s the Willis’.  It was great to all hang out together, play silly games, and eat yummy food.
  • Monday they predicted snow, and guess what? There wasn’t any here….know you guys in Greenville got lots more!
  • I have started to get adjusted to being at home.  Getting the rest I need, I know!
  • Throughout this week, God has been teaching me a lot about trusting him with EVERYTHING and how BIG His love is.  As I am sure I will need to remember over and over again!
  • I had a doctors’s appointment today, and all looked good…I gained 3 pounds since last Friday and measuring about 35 weeks.

Thanks again for all your encouraging words, prayers, and help, it really assures us constantly that we aren’t doing this alone.  Sorry we are a little slow getting any new pictures up, maybe this weekend, we will see!

Courtney, as I told you yesterday, both my prayers and thoughts are with you and I do want to be included in ANYTHING ya’ll need….I’m a great volunteer with time on my hands since my two boys are 18 & 19 and I’m a widow. Please feel free to call on my anytime! I love and respect you both for your strength and your example to others to do God’s work.
    Love,
    Judy
