What an amazing weekend

February 23rd, 2009

As I posted before, we traveled to Fountain Inn this weekend, and everything was wondeful, to recap…

  • Friday on the way down, Allen and I talked about what a blessing it was that we were even getting to make the trip, we weren’t sure if I would be able to, but I felt great!
  • I got a hair cut, which may not happen for a while
  • Ate yummy mashed potatoes from a place called Sam’s, the woman serving us was hillarious when she realized we were having six babies, she gave me like triple the servings of mashed potatoes!
  • Allen went to rehersal dinner for our friend Elise Timanus Friday night, and got to catch up with people we hadn’t seen.
  • Saturday, Mom, Eah (allen’s mom),and I headed to Easley,SC for a shower with my friends from college.  This was wonderful, I haven’t seen so many of them in such a long time.  A lot of the girls brought their babies which was adorable, and we just really enjoyed all catching up!
  • Saturday night, we all went to Elise’s wedding which was beautiful, and again great to see so many people we haven’t seen in a while.
  • Sunday, well we went back to Sam’s (the restaurant from Friday night) and yes, I got mashed potatoes again!
  • Sunday afternoon, it was time for the Fountain Inn Shower.  I really don’t know how to put into words how awesome, crazy, amazing this was.  One, it was great to get to talk to people I may not get to see for a while, unless they come to Columbia (you guys better!) Two, we were completely “showered” with so much wonderful stuff, and three, I loved watching Allen get excited about stuff.  Thank you, thank you for all that so many of you did in Fountain Inn for us, we have such wondeful family and friends.
  • To give you an idea, we got 3 of our carseats, lots of clothes, some swings, boppies, a glider chair, cute little hats for the babies, monkey piggy banks, gift cards, burp clothes, diapers, handmade blankets, and so so much more.
  • And then we drove back to Columbia with one car load and left a lot at my mom’s house, she has been wondeful to let us store so much there.

Hopefully we will have some pictures and maybe videos to post this week!  By the way…we have names picked out…

Baby A- Will, Baby B- Rob, Baby C- Addy, Baby D- Luke, Baby E- West, and Baby F- Lucy, we never thought we would pick out this many names at one time!

I think you should spell Rob Robb because all the other names are four letters, it would be too cute!

Courtney and Allen: I cried when Debbie forwarded the info on your family. I enjoyed being a part of your high school memories. It sounds like GOD has truly blessed you. Please tell your families I said “Hi”! I will visit your blog frequently to stay in touch.
